Since 2017, World Mission High School has provided scholarships to outstanding students from low-income families in the surrounding community. The programme was established with support from Korean churches and families who share our commitment to education.
The school also works closely with local government institutions, including Kinyinya Sector, to identify talented students who perform well in their national examinations but face financial difficulties that could prevent them from continuing their education.
Through this collaboration, deserving students are given an opportunity to pursue technical and vocational education and develop the knowledge and skills they need for their future.
Providing students with financial support and additional learning resources has helped them strengthen their academic performance and prepare for national examinations.
In the 2022 national examinations, the school reported that 19 students achieved a score of 60/60 and more than 40 students scored 50 or above across its programmes. These results represented an important milestone for the school and the students involved.
Strong examination results also helped students qualify for government scholarships to pursue university studies, creating opportunities that might otherwise have been beyond their reach.
Our commitment goes beyond providing classroom education. By working with families, community leaders and partners, World Mission High School continues to create opportunities for young people to learn, grow and contribute to society.
